Our main focus is bridging the digital and technological divide in realisation of smart utilities and to be the preferred technological partner in achieving the goal of a Smart Utility within the resource management and distribution sector. UtilTech is small start-up business with its visionary directors leaving a large corporate firm in 2015 in the gas, water, electricity and software development industry to venture on their own. With a combined industry experienced of over 15 years, the directors of UtilTech are visionary leaders who hold different and leaderships roles within the technology and software development sector. We understand the core requirements of our customers and take great detail in analysing the challenges faced by our customers to tailor make a solution that will best suite any of our customer’s requirements.

Our customers include Municipalities, Public and Private Utilities such as Body Corporates and Homeowners Associations in South Africa and within the SADC region. Our customers are our key and valuable partners, as such, the mutual understanding and respect we have for them is beyond reproach, that is the reason we are considered the best partners in this business.

UtilTech has over the years developed and entered into strategic partnership agreements with leading and respectable companies with the technology and smart payment sector in order to provide bespoke solutions to our customers. These partnerships allow us to put together tailor-made solutions which benefit our customers at large. Our partners assist us in the following areas.

1. Vending and Payment Channels (Commercial Banks, ATM, Large Retail and Spaza Shops).

2. Hardware and Products (Post and/or Prepaid and Smart Meters, Data Concentrating Units (DCU), IOT communication devices and technologies such as Sigfox)
